Dr. Robert Baron began as an assistant professor in Radiology in 1983 at the Wm. M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, now part of Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences. He became chairman of the Radiology Department in 1985, a position he held until his retirement from teaching. He is fellowship trained in MR at Proscan Imaging in Ohio under direction of Stephen Pomeranz, MD. Dr. Baron is board certified in podiatric medicine and has lectured extensively on the national and local level. He is also the author or co-author of multiple professional articles. Dr. Baron resides in Willowbrook, IL with his wife Carol and their three dogs. He currently reads for multiple MR centers in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana.
