Dr. Sobti

M.D.

Dr. Sobti is a board certified radiologist with advanced training in Clinical Informatics, Imaging, Management and Strategy. He has an extensive background in hospital administration strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and IT implementation.

He works as a Teleradiologist in Oak Park and previously held positions as a Chief Medical Information Officer at Norwegian American Hospital,  teleradiologist for Virtual Radiologic and as a Medical Liaison to Informatics at the Chicago Department of Public Health. Dr. Sobti was also a Fellow of Clinical Informatics and Fellow of Advanced Abdominal Imaging at University of Chicago.  He also attained a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, with a focus on Strategy, Management, Entrepreneurship and Economics.

As Chief Medical Information officer of Norwegian American Hospital, the strongest safety net hospital in the Chicagoland area, he oversaw all IT including developing/designing and implementing all strategies to create robust clinical information systems that assist clinicians in delivery of care, patient safety, efficiency and improve quality. He majored in Bio-Medical Engineering at the University of Illinois and is a licensed MD in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Colorado.
